NEST examination 2021

The NEST is an annual entrance examination. Only two universities use this examination as their entrance test to recruit undergraduates.

91 cities all over India conducted the NEST examination in 2019. Only 0.32% of 80,000 candidates qualify for this examination making it extremely competitive.

September 2021 is when the examination is most likely to be conducted due to the covid-19 conditions.

The duration of NEST is 3 hours 30 minutes and the syllabus comprises of chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics and aptitude. All the sections carry equal marks.

Three out of four sections of the examination should be completed if the candidates wish to be admitted into CBS. If they want to be on the NISER merit list, they would have to complete all four sections.
