INJSO is organised every year by NBCSE at about 15 centres in the country. Indian National Junior Science Olympiad is the second step that offers n opportunity for Indian students to represent India in worldwide Championships.

It comprises of 5 stages: –
- National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS)
- Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO)
- Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) in junior science.
- Pre-departure Training Camp (PDT) for IJSO
- Participation in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO)
Preparation tips-
Plan properly –
Since you need to prepare for your school examination, have a proper plan to prepare for both tests thoroughly.
Clear your concepts first–
To excel in this exam, you need to have good conceptual clarity. Raw memorisation and rote method of learning will not help you much. Make sure whatever you study, your concepts are clear.
Prepare notes–
It is advised to prepare notes to grasp all the concepts thoroughly because you will have to read lots and lots of books. Refer to different study materials to prepare for INJSO. They also come in handy as you sit to revise.
Revise–
Keep on revising your chapters regularly so you do not forget anything. It will help you to memorise the information and retaining the data for a long.
Join forums–
You can also join different forums online, which can help you to ace this exam. After all, you are not the only one preparing for this exam.
