How to prepare for IAO-

The exam is highly competitive as the students selected will represent India on the International Level. Here are some tips to help you with the preparation.

Be clear with the basics-

You need to have a very good hold on your basics. If you have a good foundation, you can solve advanced level questions without much difficulty.

Manage your time-

A student’s rank can fluctuate by even a single mark. Try to practice your questions in a particular time frame with high accuracy.

Think and Delve deeper –

Simply mugging up concepts will do you no good. You need to have a clear visualization, genuine love and interest to learn something new. Delve deeper in the concept and keep on asking questions so it can widen your understanding, helping you to solve even the most twisted question.

Take mock tests –

Practicing at home is very effective if you do it regularly. Take mock tests to have an idea about the pattern of the exam, but do not forget to review the mock tests. Usually, the students make a mistake by not reviewing their mock tests. Try to analyze the questions you are facing a problem with and the areas you need to solve. Work on your weaknesses.

High Accuracy-

Just practicing the question will not help you much. You have to practice them in a given time frame with high accuracy. The more you practice, the more you will be able to reduce your mistakes and higher the accuracy.
